Silver Apples will be hitting the road with Loto Ball Show in June & July, making for an insane show one should not miss. Sponsored by Gifted Children Records, both bands will be hitting the US east coast and southern states, Silver Apples promoting a limited edition tour LP entitled Selections [ChickenCoop Recordings] made up of some beloved songs remastered, and Loto Ball Show touring to promote their debut full length, Levy on the EyeWay, now available from Gifted Children Records.

Selections also features an unreleased Silver Apples track collaborating with [it's a secret, but it's good, think other 60's god/s]. Also available for sale exclusively on tour will be a four song Silver Apples EP entitled Gremlins [Gifted Children Records] featuring four songs, one of which being "I Don't Know" from the now sold-out seven inch single released in 2007 on Gifted Children Records.

Between Silver Apples' psyched out oscillators and Loto Ball Show's psychotic stage catharsis, this show will definitely be worth the entry fee. Tickets should be available through your local venue.

Although our website has been dead for a long while, we surely have not been. Let’s run down the list of the last couple months: Moved locations, handmade wallpaper, boxes to ceiling, family matters, parted ways from our old web creator (enter alexandra k, looks pretty nice around here doesn’t it?), filing invoices properly, learning what invoices are, booking shows, emails, emails, emails, let’s put this one out, okay and that one, fuck where will the money fall from now, oh my god we’re broke, no we’re not! Up, down, up, down…all for the love of record dorkdom. Now that the dust has settled, we’re very excited to announce 2008 and all it has in store for us and you.

Today we have three matters to tend to:

First up on the list, Loto Ball Show’s Levy on the Eyeway, out June 17th 2008. Pure gold for freaks everywhere! Pre-sales are available now. This debut LP from LBS will be manufactured on fancy vinyl and CD. Fronted by Loto Ball from the now defunct (The) Phantom Limbs (and Boy Scouts of Annihilation), Loto Ball Show screams out much of the same ferocity as the Limbs while bringing in more variety in mood, more shifts in volume and pace, and more eclectic sounds –  A key-board driven form of No-Wave post-punk with hints of jazz syncopation and Middle-Eastern scales. From Chris D. of The Flesh Eaters, "Loto Ball Show takes the pants off the Phantom Limbs dead person and puts The King and Eye in one leg and Hex Enduction Hour in the other." Also planned for Loto Ball Show, a tour in June with the forever-blow-my-mind Silver Apples. Those dates will be announced shortly with more details.

Speaking of Silver Apples…. Silver Apples will be making a trip to Toronto for the Over the Top Fest!

And lastly, Gifted Children is very excited to announce we will be releasing Fake Blood Jacket from BRIDEZ out of San Francisco. Consisting of Will Ivy, Liza Thorn and Abe Perazo, BRIDEZ cite seagulls, poppies, Lindsay Lohan, and expensive anything as influences. Trash brat lo-fi noise pop brewings!

Presales are now available!
Only $10 (postage paid).
Fake Blood Jacket will be available to you May 28th.
